  • 4-Day Hyperspectral Data Analysis and Image Processing Workshop in Boulder, Colorado, taught by Analytical Imaging and Geophysics, LLC (AIG) and Horizon GeoImaging, LLC, cost $2495. This is an intensive course consisting of 1 day of remote sensing background and ENVI training, and 3 days of hyperspectral lectures, discussions, and exercises. The class will be taught using ENVI.   Please see the HSI Workshop Syllabus for a complete description and the Class Schedule for dates. This workshop is conducted using state-of-the-art Microsoft Windows workstations.  Students generally share machines to maximize interaction and information exchange.  Register on-line, or contact us for additional information or to register. This workshop is also offered on-site by special arrangement. This class has prerequisites.

  • 4-Day Advanced Hyperspectral Data Analysis Workshop in Boulder, Colorado, taught by Horizon GeoImaging, LLC and Analytical Imaging and Geophysics, LLC (AIG), cost $2995.  This course applies hyperspectral analysis concepts to real-world problems. The first day is a concepts review and hands-on processing using ENVI with data chosen by student consensus from a variety of available HSI datasets.  Students select a second hyperspectral dataset addressing a scientific problem of their choosing for use during the remainder of the course.  The second day includes advanced lectures on atmospheric correction and students use the ACORN or FLAASH atmospheric correction software to correct the selected datasets for atmospheric absorption and scattering.  The final two days of the workshop include advanced lectures and demonstrations and focus on hands-on analysis of the selected hyperspectral data using ENVI, culminating with student presentations and discussions of  analysis results.  Please see the Advanced Workshop Syllabus for a complete description and the Class Schedule for dates. This workshop is conducted using state-of-the-art Microsoft Windows workstations and each student has his/her own machine for the duration of the class.
