Polarimetric SAR Data Processing and Analysis
- Polarimetric SAR data are analyzed principally using
multi-band analysis techniques with SAR-specific adaptations. This
approach allows separation of materials based on their frequency and
polarization signatures, related to physical processes at the 3 - 70 cm
scale for X-, C-, L-, and P-band Radar systems. Adaptive
filters and texture analysis are used to further
separate morphological units. Results
can be provided in GIS-ready form.
